Best of the Region 09

B & E Marine was voted "Best Boat Dealer" by the readers of the Times Newspaper and Shore Magazine in the 2009 15th Annual Best of the Region. The region is considered Northwest Indiana where a total of 120,000 votes were cast in 90 categories. "It's pretty exciting," says Rod Bensz, Sales Manager and, with his brother Barry, co-owner of B & E Marine. He attributes B & E's popularity first and foremost to "the team we have here," which includes many people with 10, 20 and even 30 or more years of experience. "And we sell great products - Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, and our most recent addition, Tiara Yachts," he adds.

In addition to boat sales, B & E offers winter boat storage, customer slips, boat service and other amenities. "We have a lot of classes and events," Bensz says, such as their Owner's Club gatherings, regular Open Houses to showcase boats, and a popular no-men-allowed Women's Boating Class.
