Terry Belue

Terry has been a valued member of the B & E Marine team for more than 32 years, bringing unmatched experience and a lifelong connection to boating. He began as a teenager on the maintenance crew, later working at the gas dock and in the service department before becoming Service Manager in 2001. In 2006, he transitioned into sales, where his deep technical knowledge and customer-first approach truly shine.

Having grown up near Pine Lake and Lake Michigan, Terry has always felt at home on the water. His firsthand boating experience allows him to guide clients thoughtfully — whether they are first-time buyers or seasoned boaters upgrading to their next vessel.

A proud LaPorte High School “Slicer,” Terry was an accomplished athlete and is currently a member of the Slicer Football Hall of Fame. He’s also a lifelong Chicago Bears fan. Terry and his wife have led numerous customer getaway trips, sharing their passion for the boating lifestyle and helping clients create unforgettable memories.

Keith has been helping clients enjoy the boating lifestyle at B & E Marine for more than 36 years, assisting hundreds of families in finding the right boat for their needs. A longtime resident of nearby Valparaiso, Indiana, he grew up close to Lake Michigan and has always embraced life on the water — making a career in boating a natural fit.

His success is rooted in deep product knowledge, seamanship skills, and a family history of boating. Keith believes that selling a boat is just the beginning of the relationship. He takes pride in being available to customers whenever they need support, guidance, or advice.

During peak season, Keith’s phone rings from morning to night — a reflection of the trust his clients place in him. Whether guiding a first-time buyer or assisting an experienced boater with a new, pre-owned, or brokerage purchase, his goal is to ensure every customer feels confident and excited about their decision.

For Keith, many customers become lifelong friends, and helping them create lasting memories on the water is the most rewarding part of the job.

Chris Cipares

A lifelong Michigan City resident, Chris grew up boating on Lake Michigan and has been immersed in the boating lifestyle from an early age. Family boating traditions run deep — his grandparents owned seven boats over the years; his parents have traveled all over the great lakes on several different boats as well and today Chris continues that tradition with his wife and three children.

Chris began working at B&E Marine during college on the gas dock and in the parts department and ship store. After earning his Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, he joined the sales team full time and has now been serving clients for more than 27 years. His experience across multiple departments gives him a well-rounded understanding of both the products and the ownership experience.

Known for his approachable style and strong relationships, Chris takes pride in helping customers feel comfortable and confident throughout the buying process. Many of his clients have become long-term friends — a testament to his commitment before and after the sale.

Outside the marina, Chris and his family enjoy horseback riding and are deeply involved in the LaPorte County 4-H program, reflecting their strong ties to the local community.
